Invariant differential cross sections of nucleons in 4He-p interactions

Description

The invariant differential cross sections as a function of the nucleons momenta produced at different angles in 4Hep interactions have been investigated, separately for pion containing and pionless channels. Two samples of data have been used at the two values of 4He incident momenta of 8.6 and 13.6 GeV/c. The data have been taken by means of the 1-m hydrogen bubble chamber at JINR Dubna, Irregularities observed in the differential cross sections at large production angles in the pionless reactions indicate the necessity to take into account inelastic intermediate states. 15 refs.; 5 figs.; 2 tabs
