  • 1. AN SSSR, Nizhnij Arkhyz. Spetsial'naya Astrofizicheskaya Observatoriya

Description

A detailed study of the optical counterpart of the X-ray source 2S 0114+650 has been made. The spectrograms obtained with the 6-m telescope in the prime focus with the image tube (dispersion of 56 A/mm) and with the Main Stellar Spectrograph (dispersion of 28 A/mm) are used. Identification of spectral lines has been carried oUt, their parameters have been determined. The spectral class Sp=B0.2+-0.2 and the absolute stellar magnitude Msub(v)-6sup(m).74 (from hydrogen lines) and Msub(v)=-4sup(m).33+-0.21 (using lines of other elements) have been estimated. UBV-photometry of the object has been made: V=11 sup(m).0.6+-0sup(m).01, U-B=-0sup(m)0.60+-0sUp(m).005, B-V=1sup(m).090+-0sup(m).005. The distance r=1.8+-0.2 kpc and interstellar extinction Asub(v)=4sup(m).5 were determined
