Severely anaemic dial workers heavily contaminated with radium had a highly cellular, not an aplastic, marrow Leukaemia (or a leukaemia-like disorder) is likely to have been a cause of death in US dial workers in 1922-28 but the evidence is entirely circumstantial. (author)
