Optimization of fuel assemblies arrangement in research reactor
Description
The problem of optimization of fuel distribution in research reactors, is solved taking into account the fact that the core arrangement can be realized only using the given set of fuel assemblies with known burnup. Algorithm and program, which were tested using the WWR-M reactor one-dimensional model, were developed. The conclusion is made that optimal fuel assembly arrangement in a reactor core may be obtained only after several iterative procedures
