Description

In 2005, Russia and international donors created a coordination working group to support nuclear legacy projects at Andreeva bay, a former Navy base. The scope of activities of the group: projects for management of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste, remediation of territory and creation of infrastructure for future projects. The group is to agree joint plans of actions, review the progress of projects and make recommendations for future efforts.
