Thermodynamic properties of sodium silicates and cesium borates
Creators
Description
Sodium-silicate and cesium-borate glasses and crystals in the temperature range from 200 to 1100 K and sodium-borate glasses and crystals in the range from 350 to 773 K were investigated by the differential scanning calorimetry method. Temperature dependences of enthalpies of glass formation, differences between enthalpies, entropies and free energies of glasses and crystals are calculated. Concentration-temperature dependences of heat capacities and enthalpies of glass formation are considered from the point of views of existence in glasses salt-like groups similar to those being in crystals. 51 refs.; 19 figs
