Instability of two-dimensional mode of the film flow at nonuniform temperature of a free surface

Description

The local long-wave instability of the two-dimensional stationary mode of the thin liquid film flow with the nonuniform field of the free surface temperature is shown. The critical condition of the transition to the flow regular three-dimensional jet structure is substantiated. The expression for the instability characteristic period is obtained

Показана локальная длинноволновая неустойчивость двумерного стационарного режима течения тонкой пленки жидкости с неоднородным полем температуры свободной поверхности. Обосновано критическое условие перехода к регулярной трехмерной струйной структуре течения. Получено выражение для характерного периода неустойчивости
