Description

Three examples are presented showing that the ABMR-LIRF method (atomic beam magnetic resonance, detected by laser induced resonance fluorescence) is a very powerful tool for getting information on nuclear deformations. It makes possible hfs studies (hyperfine structure) that were impossible in the past for experimental reasons. (KBE)
