Analogy of geometric forms of crystals of inorganic compounds and metal-organic complex compounds

Examples of inorganic and organic substances which have the same geometric shapes of crystals are given. These examples and their analysis indicate that there is a single system for the formation of discrete material units in the structure of crystal. Based on results obtained, a forecast has been made of structural type and electrical properties of some inorganic and organometallic compounds. (author)
