Design and construction for seismic-upgrading of existing stacks of unit 3, 4, and 5 at Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station

Description
Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. provided a new target earthquake, and developed a seismic-upgrading for Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station. Upgrade of stacks of unit 3, 4, and 5 were also included in the plan. This paper described outline of the structural plan for the seismic-upgrading, fabrication works and construction for these stacks, with regard to the seismic-safety during the construction. (author)
