Anthracene decomposition in solid phase by simple ozonization
Description
In this work the degradation of anthracene in solid phase by ozonization is studied. The ozone soil remediation is an attractive technology because it can be applied in three available modes: in situ, on site and off site. In most of real contaminated sites, anthracene is always combined with other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) for this reason it has been selected as a model compound for the preparation of the contaminated model soil, (baked and moisten sand) with the initial concentration 3 mg/g.
