Description
The 40Ca ground state is studied in the 176-dimensional model space of 0+2 hω/2π excitations. In this space diagonalization is compared to the sum of linked graphs to all orders. Both the original and the saturating Sussex matrix elements are used and the effect on the order-by-order convergence of modifying the unperturbed single-particle energies is studied. (Auth.)
