Bivalent einsteinium complexing with perchlorate-, tetrafluoroborate- and tetraphenylborate-ions in tetrahydrofuran

Description

Method of cocrystallization was used to study the influence of perchlorate-, tetrafluoroborate- and tetraphenylborate- ions on behaviour of bivalent einsteinium in tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution. It was revealed that introduction of ClO4- and BF4- resulted to change of coefficients of Cs2+ cocrystllization on solid phase [Sr(18-crown-6)]I2 from THF solution. At the same time, introduction of BPh4- didn't cause the change of Es2+ cocrystallization coefficients. The conducted experiments enabled to conclude, that stability of complexes increased when passing from BF4- to ClO4-, whereas complexing of Es2+ with BPh4- in THF solution was not observed. 11 refs., 1 fig
