A stochastic-Bayesian approach to modelling of macrodispersion in heterogeneous porous media

Description

This paper presents a formalism for injecting measured data into models of solute transport in heterogeneous porous media. This formalism is based on a Bayesian approach of updating the probabilities of the displacements of the particles, and requires the derivation of the spatial moments between the velocity and the measured data such as conductivity and hydraulic head.
