Pseudomorphism and structural relaxation in small particles
- 1. Moskovskij Inzhenerno-Fizicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)
Description
Pseudomorphic phase conjugation in ultradisperse particles has been considered. A critical size at which the pseudomorphic state becomes metastable has been considered. A dimensional character of the interphase boundary formation upon relaxation of elastic stresses has been shown. Diffraction studies of ultradisperse powders of nickel and zirconium dioxide have been carried out for comparison with a theoretical model
