Energy-momentum tensor of an areal object
Creators
Description
An expression for energy-momentum tensor of an areal object is determined. Areal models of relativistic spatially bound objects (a relativistic string, a membrane) are considered. It is shown that affine space-time has a richer structure than differentiated multiplicity. It is shown that a relativistic string and a membrane move freely, if their world surface is minimal in the Minkowsky universe. 17 refs
