Thermoluminescence of γ-irradiated rubidium chloride doped with europium
Description
Thermoluminescence curves of three different γ-irradiated RbCl samples (undoped pro-analysi grade, suprapure, and doped with europium) are given. The thermoluminescence intensity of europium doped crystals is found to be about 30 times that of a suprapure sample. Though the emission intensity also appears to have increased with heating rate, the resolution seems to be better in the curve obtained at lower heating rate (6.6 K/min) and hence it is more suitable for analysis
