ab]Abstract
Endic acid imides were synthesized by direct fusion of endic anhydride with various amino acids. Further transformations of the resulting acids gave new 2,3-dienoic acids containing a norbornene fragment. Triphenylphosphine-catalyzed [3+2]-cycloaddition of the latter to fullerene C60 afforded the corresponding cyclopentenofullerenes.Additional details
