A method for determining boundaries of the sanitary zone and the control zone around the nuclear power plant

The detal analysis of the running laws and regulations concerning organizing the sanitary-protection and control zones around NPP is made. The criteria for determination of these zones regarding reactor facility specific features, peculiarities of NPP site region and modern requirements for population radiation protection provisions under power units normal operation conditions and in the case of probable accidents are developed.
