Alteration characteristics in uranium ore rock of the Barenzhalage in inner Mongolia and its control to uranium mineralization

  • 1. Insititude No.280, CNNC, Guanghan (China)

Description

Barenzhalage uranium ore rock is Barenzhalage alkali granite, upper rock intense alteration, according to the intensity of alteration can be divided into three alteration belts of strong, medium, weak, riebeckite granite belt of Strong alteration is the main mineralization occurrence location, located in the upper part of the alteration rock. The main types of alteration is silicification and albitization, followed by aegirinization, argillization, etc. Silicification and albitization relatively strong, the rock alteration uniformly in the plane, but to the deep alteration weakened gradually. Uranium mineralization are mainly distributed in riebeckite granite belt with strong alteration, and strictly controlled by the strength of rock alteration. The origin of mineral deposit is metasomatic differentiation primary deposit in the late magmatic. (authors)
