On the use of multicharges ions energy spectra for plasma diagnostics

Description

Measurement results of energy spectra of lead multicharged ions obtained at CO2-laser radiation heating of plane target, are presented. Single and bidimensional calculations of formation of lead plasma ion composition are carried out. On the basis of good concurrence of the experimental and calculated ion energy spectra one makes a conclusion about the possibility to determine temperature of plasma electrons within critical density range
