Structural and dynamic properties of UO2 at high temperatures
Description
Results are presented of a dynamical simulation of UO2 at high temperatures. The calculations confirm the occurrence of superionic oxygen conduction, but find that the level of disorder on the anion sublattice is low. The results, however, suggest there are exceptionally large, anisotropic thermal parameters at high temperatures. (author)
