Investigation of intermediates in thiol oxidation reactions

Description
Oxidation of aminoethanthiol in Ce(SO4)2+H2SO4 solution was studied. It is shown that under certain conditions RS+ is intermediate product, which later transforms into product, that can not be identified as previously described products of thiol oxidation. Assumptions are made on its structure and ways of transformation
