Nuclear safety and reactor operation support
Description
The article primarily describes the use of the LVR-15 and LR-0 reactors, with focus on nuclear safety and reactors operation support. Research using a neutron generator, accelerator or a 252Cf isotopic neutron source is also described. Their advantages and the unique possibilities they offer are discussed and the specific areas of their use and achievements accomplished with them are highlighted. An outline of the most important projects with impacts on on the future of nuclear energy is presented. (author)
