A programmable fast logic unit

Description
A manual programmable logic unit performing all the 3-input logical functions is described. The input-output delay is function independent and it makes the unit suitable for fast timing operations also when working in cascade. In such a way, most of the 9-input fuctions can be performed by a combination of four units (a double NIM module). This configuration can therefore be conveniently used in particle physics experiments when fast signal processing is required. (orig.)
