Description

Electron transfer in Be2+-He collisions is studied within the semiclassical close-coupling description of atomic collisions. Partial transfer cross sections are predicted for the final states in the Be+ n=2-4 shells at energies of 1-100 keV/u. We also assess the cross section for two-electron transfer which leads to a neutral Be atom, and the excitation cross sections to He 21L states. (orig.)
