Evaluation of parameters of color profile models of LCD and LED screens

Description

The purpose of the research relates to the problem of parametric identification of the color profile model of LCD (liquid crystal display) and LED (light emitting diode) screens. The color profile model of a screen is based on the Grassmann's Law of additive color mixture. Mathematically the problem is to evaluate unknown parameters (numerical coefficients) of the matrix transformation between different color spaces. Several methods of evaluation of these screen profile coefficients were developed. These methods are based either on processing of some colorimetric measurements or on processing of technical documentation data. (paper)
