European countries that say yes to nuclear energy

Description

Most of the countries that favor nuclear energy in the European Union are eastern european countries: Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Bulgaria. We find also Finland and United-Kingdom. Except Poland all have a nuclear past and all proceed the reduction of greenhouse gases to extend their nuclear reactor fleet. The informal group 'Visegrad' that gathers Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic tries to lobby at the European level. (A.C.)
