14C(6Li,t)17O reaction at E(6Li) = 34 MeV
- 1. Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Sezione di Catania, Centro Siciliano di Fisica Nucleare e di Strutture della Materia
Description
Energy spectra and angular distributions of tritons from the 14C(6Li,t)17O reaction have been measured at 34 MeV 6Li incident enegy and between theta/sub lab/ = 50 and 450. The observed selectivity and the forward peaked angular distributions suggest a predominantly direct reaction mechanism. 17O states with main 3p-2h configuration are tentatively identified. The experimental data have been analyzed in terms of Hauser-Feshbach and exact-finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation theories. 3He spectroscopic strengths are extracted
