Ordering in the solid Sb2Te3-Sb2Se3 solution

Description
Ordering in the Sb2Te3-Sb2Se3 solid solution has been studied by the X-ray phase analysis, measurements of thermal electromotive force, specific resistance and thermal conductivity. The lattice parameters of solid solutions have been measured as a function of their composition. X-ray density studies have revealed that Sb2Te3-based solid solutions in the Sb2Te3-Sb2Se3 system are of substitution type. Data on electrophysical properties and on the changes in the lattice parameters indicate that the decrease in temperature results in ordering of the solid solution and in formation of the compound of Sb2Te2Se type
