Study of CeNi5-CeZn5 cross section of Ce-Ni-Zn system at 470 K

Description
Boundaries of solid solutions formed in ternary system Ce-Ni-Zn on the basis of isostructural binary compounds CeNi5 and CeZn5, which are crystallized in the CaCu5 structural type, have been ascertained by the powder method according to changes in the lattice periods. Solid solutions CeNi5-xZnx exist up to composition CeNi3.24Zn1.76 while CeZn5-xNix up to composition CeNi2.03Zn2.97. Refs. 3, tabs. 2
