Evaporative transpiration pump

Description

An evaporative transpiration pump is described in this patent. Such devices have many applications, but are particularly suitable for use in multi-column cryodistillation systems, and are used to pump volatile liquids which are easily evaporated by the heater. This new device overcomes deterioration in flow rates by including a porous filter of low thermal conductivity. (UK)
