Description

Studied is the effect of an interplanetary shock wave on solar proton propagation interacting with the heterogeneities of the interplanetary magnetic field. A spherically-symmetrical problem for propagation of solar protons with the energy E>=1 MeV is formulated and solved by the Monte-Carlo method. Presented are the time dependences of the intensity of protons with the given energy, injected in the vicinity of the Sun and the graphical distributions of proton intensity increase which are of different time profiles. Comparative analysis of the experimental data and of the calculated ones is carried out. It is underlined that the further detail analysis and model calculations for various values of parameters, characterizing the properties of interplanetary medium and of shock wave are necessary
