Trace anomaly of the energy-momentum tensor of quantized scalar fields in Robertson-Walker spacetime
Description
The energy momentum tensors of quantized massless scalar fields minimally or conformally coupled to a homogeneous and isotropic spacetime are calculated by adiabatic regularization. In the derivation, the trace anomaly results simply from a reduction of logarithmic divergent integrals before taking the massless limit. (Auth.)
