Few-body problem and pion-nuclear physics

Creators

  • 1. Los Alamos Scientific Lab., NM

Description

Some of the pion-nuclear physics questions that pertain to pion-few-nucleon systems are explored. Those aspects of the problem which have relevance to the general study of pion-nuclear physics are emphasized, in particular the properties of the π-N interaction within a nucleus. Specific examples are restricted to elastic scattering from 2H, 3He, and 4He and selected single and double charge-exchange reactions
