Human factor in nuclear power plant operation

Description
Ways of man-machine interaction improvement in NPP control systems are considered. Problems of increasing the efficiency of using the NPP operator training systems are discussed. Principles of construction of the systems for acquisition, processing and representation of the data on personnel mistaks are described. In the USA the PRISM system (a system for probabilistic estimation of safety data) permitting to carry out safety analysis depending on variations in operational conditions is developed. In Great Britain the ESSM system (the system safety monitor) permitting to carry out on-line safety analysis and probabilistic estimations of reactor system in an interactive regime is set up at the Heisham-B reactor
