μSR study of organic antiferromagnet β'-(BEDT-TTF)2ICl2 under high pressure

Description

Zero-field muon spin relaxation was measured for organic antiferromagnet β'-(BEDT-TTF)2ICl2 under high pressure of up to 1.37 GPa. Although major contribution of spectrum comes from the high-pressure cell, we can detect precession signal from β'-(BEDT-TTF)2ICl2 below Neel temperature. Neel temperature, which is 22 K at ambient pressure, increases with increasing pressure and becomes approximately 48 K at 1.37 GPa. Muon precession frequency at 1.37 GPa, becomes about 5 times larger than that at ambient pressure.
