An evaluation of these problems from the point of view of geo-sciences leads to the following statements: plutonium in soil possess the longest residence time; the knowledge of potential migration mechanisms in humid climatic ranges deserve a first order priority in sting of α-waste final depositories (case of Maxey Flats), the normally used relationships may be applied for the evaluation of plutonium transfer in terrestrial ecosystams. Abstract (German)

Eine Auswertung aus der Sicht der geowissenschaftlichen Aspekte dieser Problematik ergibt als besonders wichtige Erkenntnis, dass Plutonium im Boden die laengste mittlere Aufenthaltsdauer hat; den potentiellen Wanderungsmechanismen in humiden Klimabereichen eine erstrangige Bedeutung bei Endlagerung der α-Abfaelle zukommen muss, (Fall Maxey Flats); die konventionell verwendeten Beziehungen auch bei Abschaetzung des Plutonium-Transfers in terrestrischen Oekosystemen anwendbar sind.
