The ratio (ρ) of real to imaginary part of the amplitude in proton-proton scattering
Description
The ratio (ρ), in the present work, is calculated as a function of C.M. energy between 5.0 GeV and 2.0 TeV. The variation of ρ as a function of √s is found in fair agreement with the data. At 5.0 GeV the value of ρ is found -0.25 which increases with c.m. energy up to +0.153 at 2.0 TeV, passing through zero at √s = 29.57 GeV
