Iodine-129 concentration method from activated carbon, filtrative substances and biological samples for activation analysis

Description

The method of the iodine isotope concentration from activated carbon, filtrative substances and biological samples (thyroid gland) using the destructive distillation with the trapping of the volatile distillation products by a small sorbent quantity is described. Design of the equipment used are presented. Destructive distillation stages and corresponding temperature regimes are described. The values of the transition coefficients are evaluated using model experiments
