Nonlinear whistler-mode interaction and triggered emissions in the magnetosphere: a review
Description
A review is given of both experimental and theoretical aspects of coherent nonlinear effects in the whistler-mode interactions in the magnetosphere. Among various nonlinear wave-wave and wave-particle interactions in the magnetosphere, the whistler-mode interaction appears to be one of the most exciting phenomena which have been observed in space plasmas but not in laboratory plasmas.
