Acoustic and dielectric studies of phase transitions in Rb2CoCl4 crystals

Description
Temperature dependences of elastic wave velocity and damping were measured as well as temperature dependence of dielectric susceptibility in ferroelectric crystals Rb2CoCl4. Experimental results permit to draw a conclusion of the presence of an incommensurable phase in these crystals in the temperature range from 192.5 to 293 K. Experimental data are analysed within the framework of the Landau theory
