Measurement of hyperfine structure and isotope shift of the transition 3F2-z 3D2 of hafnium by laser spectroscopy

Description
The isotope shift and the hyperfine structure of the transition between the ground state 3F2 and the excited state z 3D2 of hafnium at 618.51 nm wavelength have been investigated by laser spectroscopy using a well collimated beam of Hf-atoms. The hyperfine splitting constants of the z 3D2-state and the isotope shifts between the line centers have been determined. (orig./HSI)
