Description

The bracelet dosemeters containing two thermoluminescent detectors of LiF: Mg, Ti with natural Li, were realized for the discrimination of the beta and gamma contributions from the mixed fields, for the beta radiation up to 2.27 MeV and for the photon energy up to 3 MeV, in personnel dosimetry. These dosemeters were used to assess the contribution of photons in a 7 MeV electron beam generated by the 7 MeV experimental linear accelerator. The results show that these dosemeters can be used in high energy mixed field measurements with basic errors, for photon radiation of ±15% in the range (5·10-2-10)Sv and for electron radiations of 40% in the whole range of measurement. Their application can be extended to the dosimetry of intense high energy electron and Bremsstrahlung beams, obtained at accelerators for personnel monitoring. (authors)
