Recent advances in mammography: the digital system
Creators
Description
In the last decades, several advances on imaging diagnostic have been noticed, and therefore, new sub-specialties in Radiology have been developed. In the scope of mammography, the digital radiography has represented an important step, like the first image printed of the mammary glands, in vivo, by Kleinschmidt, at Germany in 1920. In this paper the authors discuss the advantages of the digital systems in relation to conventional analogic systems
