Theory of collisionless motion of high energy alpha-particles in stellarators
Description
A theory of high energy alpha particle motion in the classical stellarators is developed. The resonant and non-adiabatic effects such as the resonant broadening of the untrapped particle radial excursions, collisionless orbit transformation and stochasticity of the toroidally trapped particle motion are found to be of great importance in the behaviour of fast alpha particles
