Influences of the Internal Market on the operation of nuclear installation

The author deals with the issues of harmonization of laws in the energy sector, competence of the Community for regulations under atomic energy law, legal harmonization in the area of nuclear energy, the Europeanization of the fuel cycle, effects of waste treatment abroad on proof of disposal and management of radioactive waste, the EC-wide nuclear standardization and a revision of Euratom, i.e. the motion for resolution of the Upper House of the German Federal Parliament, to change the Euratom Treaty in view of the creation of the European Internal Market, which was approved on 30.6.1989. Der Verfasser geht im einzelnen auf Fragen der Rechtsharmonisierung im Energiebereich, die Gemeinschaftsbefugnisse fuer atomrechtliche Regelungen, die Rechtsharmonisierung im Kernenergiebereich, die Europaerisierung des Brennstoffkreislaufs sowie Auswirkung der Auslandsentsorgung auf den Entsorgungsnachweis, die EG-weite kerntechnische Normung und eine Euratom-Revision, d.h. den Entschliessungsantrag des Bundesrates vom 30.6.1989 auf eine Aenderung des Euratom-Vertrages vor dem Hintergrund der Schaffung des Europaeischen Binnenmarktes ein.
