Description

On the basis of three-dimensional quasipotential approach to the problem of relativistic description of bound states, formulae are derived that express the width of radiative decay of vector and pseudoscalar mesons through the relativistic wave functions of bound states of two quarks. With the use of the normalization conditions for the wave functions and Cauchy-Bunyakovsky relation (without any assumptions about the form of the quasipotential of quark interaction and the form of the wave functions) for a set of known vector and pseudoscalar mesons the upper limits for radiative-decay widths (V→γP and P→γV) are found most of which turn out to be predictions of the theory.
