Neutrinos from SN1987A and current models of stellar-core collapse
Description
The neutrino signatures obtained from extended hydrodynamic calculations of stellar-core collapse are described and compared with the data of Hirata et al. and Bienta et al. The comparisons suggest that SN1987A resulted from the collapse of a small core, and marginally suggest the delayed shock mechanism
