Two-pion correlations in Ksup(+)p interactions at 32 GeV/C

Description
Two-particle correlations on rapidities between π--mesons are studied experimentally in Ksup(+)p interactions at 32 GeV/C. The existence of considerable positive correlations during clc.sterization of π- mesons in the rapidity ranges y1=y2=0 and y1--y2 approximately -0.8 is demonstrated. Positive correlations also manifest themselves in semiinclusive reactions where the correlation function for Δ y approximately 0 depends weakly on the event topology, varies slightly with the increase of energy and differs substantially from correlations between pions of different signs
